JUNKSTAR EURO TOUR BEGINS
JC and Katy are performing as special guests for Omega's Anniversary tour in Europe. The guys kicked off the shenanigans on March 9th, playing in front of 10,000 people in Eger, Hungary. Here's a few pictures. The tour is from March until May, but UK fans - don't despair! JC AND KATY COVER STARS OF THIS MONTHS LEMEZBÖRZE MAGAZINE
Katy and JC are February's cover stars on the biggest selling European music magazine Lemezbörze - which has previously featured the likes of White Lies, Rolling Stones, U2, Coldplay and the Foo Fighters on the cover. JUNKSTAR ANNOUNCE HUNGARIAN & GERMAN TOUR WITH OMEGA!
JC and Katy from Junkstar will be appearing as special guests on Omega's 50th Anniversary tour which begins on the 9th of March 2012 in Hungary, and finishes up in May in Germany. The tour will feature a full orchestra on stage, and be played in various Sports Arenas around Central Europe. JC and Katy will be performing onstage with Omega, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, along with the Rolling Stones.
JC will be singing the English songs from Omega's latest symphonic RHAPSODY album and Katy is accompanying the band on bass. Click here for the tour dates. |

JUNKSTAR PLAY AWESOME FIRST SHOW OF 2012
Junkstar began 2012 in typically brash and brilliant fashion this week as they performed a blistering 30 minute set of electro-guitar anthems, at the launch
of brand new anamatronic Club NIght at the Monto Water Rats in Kings X, London.

Junkstar back from successful Hungarian promo tour
JC and Katy have just returned from a 4 day promotional tour of Eastern Europe, which saw them give interviews to the biggest music magazine in the region, LEMEZBÖRZE. Junkstar will be January's cover stars, and there will also be a 2 page feature inside the famous magazine. (Think of it as a mixture of the NME and ROLLING STONE and you're about right!) The magazine has previously featured the likes of U2, White Lies, Slash, Black Eyed Peas and the Rolling Stones as cover stars - (along with Bill Clinton, Angelina Jolie and the Dalai Lama!) - so the band is in great company. |

The most iconic singer in Hungary, Mecky, from supergroup OMEGA personally invited JC to chat about a Junkstar/Omega related project in 2012. Katy and JC left to do interviews on the equivalent of Hungary's BBC Radio - NEO FM, and the slightly more current affairs / arts based radio station KLUB RADIO. Airing some new songs that will feature on the first JUNKSTAR ALBUM in 2012, the band were inundated with excited listeners, calling in live to the show to wish them well, and compliment the Junkstar songs.
