JUNKSTAR PLAY AWESOME FIRST SHOW OF 2012
Junkstar began 2012 in typically brash and brilliant fashion this week as they performed a blistering 30 minute set of electro-guitar anthems, at the launch of brand new "anamatronic" Club NIght at the Monto Water Rats venue in Kings X, London. The band performed 3 brand new songs including their latest track 'Every Once In Awhile' and you can read a review about the show here. More photos from the show here.

New song NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE now streaming online
New Junkstar song Nothing Left To Lose is now online to listen to via our Reverbnation page HERE. The song will possibly feature on the bands debut album in 2012 but for a limited time you can stream it via this website! The band wish you a very merry Christmas, and the best of all possible years in 2012!

Junkstar back from successful Hungarian promo tour
JC and Katy have just returned from a 4 day promotional tour of Eastern Europe, which saw them give interviews to the biggest music magazine in the region, LEMEZBÖRZE. Junkstar will be January's cover stars, and there will also be a 2 page feature inside the famous magazine. (Think of it as a mixture of the NME and ROLLING STONE and you're about right!) The magazine has previously featured the likes of U2, White Lies, Slash, Black Eyed Peas and the Rolling Stones as cover stars - (along with Bill Clinton, Angelina Jolie and the Dalai Lama!) - so the band is in great company.

The most iconic singer in Hungary, Mecky, from supergroup OMEGA personally invited JC to chat about a project in 2012, which we will reveal more about soon. The guys shared stories about rock and roll legends and hit it off really well, before Katy and JC left to do interviews on the equivalent of Hungary's BBC Radio - NEO FM, and the slightly more current affairs / arts based radio station KLUB RADIO. Airing some new songs that will feature on the first JUNKSTAR ALBUM in 2012, the band were inundated with excited listeners, calling in live to the show to wish them well, and compliment the Junkstar songs.

All in all it was a great success, and Junkstar are in prime position to take the Eastern Region by storm in 2012.

JC and Katy are special guests on NEO FM - Hungary's No.1 nationwide radio station, where the cool cats will chat on it's famous talk show - for two hours. Purr-fect! Tune in on Sunday 4th December, 2011 from 6-8pm European time and 5-7pm GMT. Live webcam coverage will be available here.

Junkstar Feature in issue 4 of Rebelicious
Junkstar feature in the new edition of Rebelicious Magazine (Issue 4), November, 2011. The magazine is for 'girly girls in a brutal world!' Judging by the pictures of the girls within its splendid pages, the girls themselves are no kittens! Junkstar have a good little write up in the new music section. Band in recording studio:
Junkstar are busy until mid-December in the recording studio working on the final few songs for the Junkstar debut album. They have recorded a stack of new and old tracks together which will make up the bulk of the record, and are said to be very excited about the prospect of their 2012 release.
